Fourth of July

One of a few sketches that didn't look terrible after a few glasses of vinho verde at a Fourth of July party at a friend's house down in Charles City. Although I aspire to be one of those people who are constantly drawing while they are talking, eating, sleeping, etc., I always end up throwing in the towel at parties because I don't want to be the creepy quiet guy in the corner drawing pictures of everyone. And sometimes I still end up as the creepy quiet guy in the corner drawing pictures of everyone.

Hanging with the family

I went up to Wintergreen last weekend to hang out with family at a cabin they've rented. I'd never been there before, and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice and cool for July, and quite beautiful. Here are a few drawings I did while everyone was sitting around watching something or another on TV.

Greetings!

This is the drawing blog where I dispose of all of my bad drawings. And now with the help of the internet, you can now see them too.
I have just recently finished scanning drawings from my trip to Russia back in May. Here are a few to get the ball rolling. My photographs from the trip are up on Flickr, too.
